Well, that's odd. I just got done burning my transfer of my LP to CD. It was the first album I ever bought on my own, and the last album I burned off from my project of converting my LPs to CDs. And now I'm about to sell my copy (along with a heap of other stuff) once I give a listen to make sure it transferred ok. I have already sold off about 1/3 of my albums in the first round, and ended up with about $100 from the local record buyer. I'm hoping the remainder are worth as much.

I found it at a Salvation Army while looking for:

which I hadn't bothered to buy at first sight. I've made it through 1/2 of their pile o' (Jim Nabors) disaster and guess I'll try one more time.

The big HMV here closed it's doors at the end of last weekend. Went to see if there were any deals, but it was all crap what was left.

Me, in a fit of economic optimism, i pre-ordered the new Radiators & Popes albums. Might get that Gerry Diver album too, as my daughter's getting right interested in the possibilities offered by electrifying her violin. We're looking for an octave pedal right now...

.......not on Super Trouper, though I am in general in favour of the undervalued later songs, like "Under Attack". I like "Slipping Through My Fingers" too. It's literally the only song in the dreaded Mamma Mia! that has any true narrative connection to the Book.

Looking forward to hearing these. I love Music Hall. Unfortunately the one I wanted the most is out of stock so I've had to put it on back order, but never mind, there's enough here to keep me entertained over the Bank Holiday weekend.

A Night at The Music Hall - Various Artists
Four CD's of Music Hall with recordings dating back as early as 1899! Looks like I didn't need to buy the other two albums but there you go. With my busy schedule, it's going to take me at least a month to listen to them all. Looks like a good one. 8)
