Dave really was one of the best as many on here will know from concerts and because he formed lots of close and very supportive friendships with fellow Pogues fans. American jazz trumpeter Wallace Roney has died aged 59 from coronavirus.

The only trumpet player Miles Davis ever mentored. I was fortunate to see him play in tribute to Miles in 1991 with the rest of the classic quintet: Herbie Hancock, Wayne Shorter, Tony Williams, Ron Carter.
