Tons of the people of color I know voted for Trump, some hate him like you. But like any country there are differences of opinion. One black woman I know voted for Trump because of the way Obama and the DNC put out the false stories about Martin and Michael Brown, her brother is a black policeman and she is scared for him.
Many black immigrants, from places like Haiti, Uganda, all voted for Trump and love the America he envisions. One woman, from the Caribbean, says she hates being identified as "black, I just want to be known as a good person and good worker".

Trump is going to win again in 2020 by a landslide. I am a registered Democrat and there isn't one candidate who appeals to mainstream America. Warren? She just lied to a group of black mothers who can't afford Private schools like her. Sanders-HA!. Biden-I always liked him, saw him speak back when he ran years ago (maybe giving a Labor Party Speech by Neil Kinnock?) but between ME Too, Too Old and Hunter he is destroyed. Hillary? Bloomberg?

My final word ( and I am sure you will fire away) You remind me of the Thomas C. Howell character in Red Dawn. "All that hate is going to burn you up". Peace.

Yeah, and joking about a black rapper being murdered is so loving.
Fraud.

You go on and on and on and on about 9/11 and the Boston Marathon bombings but have zero sympathy for a murdered black teenager or a murdered black rapper. You posted that shit.

I’m from Lowell and take exception to you representing Massachusetts racists. They’re not all as dumb as you, but the term Masshole didn’t come from nowhere. I have the characteristics without the blatant hatred of black people. You, not so much.

Anyone that delves deep into Fox and Breitbart, etc. to justify the killing of a black teenager walking home from a convenience store has issues greater than the ones you see in me.

Keep tiptoeing around having voted for and voting for Trump in the future (if you even get the chance), Mr. Democrat. LOL.

Do I know any black people? STFU.

Trump’s America: freedom to rape your first wife, slip into female dressing rooms, grope, hope to date and (possibly) molest your daughter and hide your special needs son away like it was the freaking 1940’s. Aim high.

I don't think anybody ever argued the balistics, they just argued with the right to murder. Mike, do you ever get tired of being on the wrong side of history?

Comments like this suggest you know you are on weak ground and so are just launching random attacks. Or you're just a dick. Or both.

DC Fontana, without whom Star Trek wouldn't be what we know.

Spent three hours of my life waiting in line for a Spock foam finger for a relative once, maybe longer.
Not being a fan, I still knew that the Spock was a must and I better not show up with a Kirk one. 8)

Learned recently that South African/Zimbabwean jazz singer and one of my favorite people Dorothy Masuka died earlier this year at age 83.

RIP Mr Strummer, 17 years ago today. Hope you're enjoying the gig. So much needed in these times.

I have A-side and/or b-side playlists from all my favorite artists on my ipod. Joe Strummer & The Mescaleros one is one of my favourites, and i love the live covers (The Harder They Come, Rudi, A Message To You, Blitzkrieg Bop) are so inspired and well-arranged. There's also bootleg recordings of "Walk On The Wild Side", and Joe talked about a genre he called "suave-abilly". I really would have loved to hear their suaveabilly cover album!

I mean, don't get me wrong, the final compositions/recordings with the Mescaleros were all great, and show us that he still had so much yet to give, i just ALSO want that.

One of the fathers of Americana, singer/songwriter David Olney, died on stage Saturday. Pausing mid-song and saying "i'm sorry", he dropped his head to his chest and that was it. Never let go his guitar or fell off his stool, a class act to the end. He was 71.

I’m usually the last to know these things, so I figure this hasn’t been mentioned because it’s already been mentioned everywhere else, but yeah Kobe Bryant who was 41 and his 13-year-old daughter Gigi died on Sunday in a helicopter crash, along with 7 others. They were very close and she was already a talented basketball player following in her dad’s footsteps. Sad. He leaves behind his wife and three daughters, and his dad Jellybean Joe Bryant and mom Pam. And his sisters Sharia and Shaya.
