I thought that seemed rather young for somebody playing with Bob Marley, but then I looked at this photo
https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid ... 356&type=3
where her appears as practically a child playing keys with Bob, so that explained it.

Also recently passed,Walter Becker, bassist, songwriter & co-founder of Steely Dan, and - from the same genre/era - Canadian drumer Skip Prokop, co-founder of Lighthouse ("Sunny daaaays, sunny, sunny days...")

16th Anniversary of 9/11

A beautiful day here in Boston, just like the day in 2001 when American Airlines Flt 11 and United Airlines Flt 175 departed Boston, not knowing their final destination would be the World Trade Towers in NYC, leading to the death of thousands.

:(

A day when 19 nihilist dickheads full of hate directly, and indirectly, caused the deaths and maiming of hundreds of thousands of people. Fuck those 19 and their enablers. Spare some thoughts of compassion for all the victims of the actions they set in motion.

Well said. One of my friends was at the WTC Marriott that day (and had been during the previous WTC Bombing). He was fine, but saw 23 people jump to death from the Towers that day-had a huge impact on his life. In a positive way, he dealt with it by adopting two Romanion orphans (his wife and him were childless).

What a horrible experience. I'm glad that he and his wife were able to channel that trauma into doing something good for the world.
