Didn't they already bring Mr. Spock back to life in one of the movies?? Maybe they can do it again. Seriously, though, also liked to watch the "In Search Of ..." back in the day. RIP

I will always think of him in "disguise" as an old hippy who "took too much LDS in the 60s" in Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home.

Well I'm happy to report that Harrison Ford is NOT dead.

He crashed in a vintage plane?! Reckless bastard, he coulda died. doesn't he know the rebellion needs him?! I'm so mad. I mean, here i am doing the yoga (because I, at least, have learned to look after myself), standing in a lunge with my arms up and my back bent, my head between my legs and I'm supposed to clear my mind of all thoughts and all i can think of is FUCK! What, Is the Millennium Falcon such a piece of crap he needs to mess about with ww2 vintage aircraft?

Somebody please just talk to him, ok? At least don't let him go back out there without a copilot.

I heard a rumor that Ivan Korshunov was on the plane. Oh wait, that was Air Force One :)
Glad he made it, sounded very calm and controlled for someone whose engine just failed.

Author Terry Prachett, who had announced he had early onset Alzheimer's back in 2007, has died. He was only 66, and continued writing until last Summer.

Most famous (out of 51 books!) for the "Discworld" series, Sir Terry is best known in this household for "Wee Free Men".

Bassist Andy Fraser, who has been battling both AIDS and cancer, died yesterday at age 62. Joining John Mayall's Bluesbreakers at age 15, he then co-founded Free at age 16, proceeding to play some of the best goddamn blues rock bass that has ever been played.
