Mark McFadden (1956-2008). Just found out that he died a year ago. I got to know him through internet mailing lists, dealing with lovecraftian horror, and he became a good friend and advisor, even though I never met him in person. We worried through the last year, since there were no more messages coming from him. We just found out that he died in October 2008. And I am very very sad.

My condolences, Eckhard. I have found out about a cúpla friends' deaths in the same way. It's always somehow more shocking than if you'd heard on the day of the sad event. I hope you're OK.

Thank you very much. I am really really dad. Even though I have never met him in person he was a really good friend. He advised me on writing and was himself one the best writers I know. Myself and a couple of friends have tried to somehow find or contact him through the last twelve months, finding out about his death today.

Vale Morton Donald Isaacson (aka Don Lane)

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Don_Lane

I grew up with this fellow on my TV set. Good times.

Once punched James Randi (Professional Skeptic Asshole) for slagging off Doris Stokes (Professional Psychic Ratbag) whilst on Don's TV show. Great stuff. Nice guy...
