RIP Kenneth Griffith

Actor & documentary film-maker Kenneth Griffith died on Sunday at the age of 84.

Documentaries included works on Napoleon , Roger Casement, Pandit Nehru, the Boer War, and Curious Journey (Easter Rising & War of Independence), and Hang Out Your Brightest Colours: The Life and Death of Michael Collins (1973) which was banned in UK until 1994

Although Zarqawi died alongside Sheikh Abd al-Rahman, his "spiritual adviser", two other unidentified men, and a woman and a child. Spare a though for the child, another innocent victim of a dubious war between corrupt western governments and middle east thugs.

RIP Micheal O' Domhnaill

Folk musician Micheal O' Domhnaill dies

The death has taken place of Micheal O' Domhnaill, one of the foremost figures in folk and traditional music.
He died suddenly at his Dublin home. He was 54.
A native of Co Meath, he was a former member of the Bothy Band.
He also performed regularly with his sisters Triona and Maighread.
