I do have a cat, Romeo, who I adopted when neighbors were leaving town -- another Taurus male in my life  -- who is a help. (Though he doesn't cook.)

Roll on March.

Missing the final "e" but here we go. I remember her well from the original Bob Newhart show, and always thought she was the epitome of class and stardom -- juxtaposed to Newhart's common every-day character.

She looked exceptional for a 70 year old. [/url]

He was excellent in Brokeback Mountain. Supposedly, he's just as good in the upcoming Batman flick. A shame that such a talented actor has departed in such a nature.

Brokeback Mountain

Seemed like Shane particularly enjoyed this movie according to inbetween song banter in March 2006(?)
Heath Ledger was also very good in Lords of Dogtown.
What a shame.

I knew it was only a matter of time until Suzanne Plesheete and the Pogues' 2 worlds collided. I'm just sorry it had to be this way.

A male retriever -- black labrador mix. I always suspected he had some German shorthair pointer in him, his face was more that shape, he was taller and thinner than the way labs have been bred here. And he used to point(!), at what, only he knew.

He was found in the front yard one cold day. He had mange, an ear infection, probably had been hit by a car. His nails were peeling. I thought he was an old dog, surprised to find out he was only a year old.

It is somewhat appropriate to talk about him now in this thread, because his sheer determination to keep going, no matter what, is one of his characteristics that I will remember always, and take strength from.
