The one that says on the back "It ain't easy being sleazy"?
O'Blivion wrote:Ralph and the Clinch Mountain Boys were as solid as ever and played several songs I didn't hear last year..."Little Birdie", "Stone Walls and Steel Bars" and the absolutely sublime "Angel Band" (at my request!) And once again, I videotaped everything.

That would make a lovely Christmas present..... hint, hint.

He's makin' a list...

We're off to see Black 47 tomorrow, and then on Saturday
a local wine & blues festival headlined by Big Jack Johnson.

Henry Rollins has just announced a show at the tiny local venue just up the road. This is something that was never in the list of Things I Thought Likely To Ever Happen.

Some casino near San Diego, right?

While the Lovely Mrs. DzM and I were driving to your place we saw signs for this. "Boy George?" we said. "Shouldn't he be 'Man George' or maybe just 'George' by now?" And my how we felt clever.

I vaguely recall seeing a sign for UB40 at the same casino.

Got a few things ahead, Radiohead in Victoria Park, then in July REM in Berlin and Neil Young/Primal Scream somewhere in Kent, then looking forward to the Friday at Reading - Rage Against The Machine.

Godiva Festival starts today in Coventry. The biggest free non ticket festival in the Uk.
Reggae tonight on the Main stage, Grammy award wining Inner Circle being the headline and battle of the bands on the outer stages along with comedy acts etc.
Tomorrow 30,000 are expected to see Coventrys own "The Enemy" perform as headline on the main stage in the evening with many good up and comming bands, The Ripps and Pint shot Riot to name a few playing during the day.
Finally Sunday slows things down with Jazz and Folk.
