sounds good
Obituary was better last year.
Moonspell: good show, big ego...
Napalm Death was absolutely great.

3 letters: WOW
It started at 19.30 and ended two hours later. Dylan only spoke once when he introduced the band. Played a really cool version of It Ain't Me Babe, Like a Rolling Stone and All Along the Watchtower. His band was on top form and when I compared the old to the new songs I came to the conclusion that the new songs have some really shitty lyrics but musicially they're phenomenal

Lucky Mick!
Tomorrow: Julie Fowlis. Singer and instrumentalist from the Hebrides, wonderful performer of Gaelic songs. Gorgeous voice she has.

Lovely concert by the lovely Julie Fowlis last night.
Beautiful voice (she sings in Gaelic), great band of musicians.
If anyone hasn't heard her, she's worth checking out. Good vid here (not from last night):

Last night they told the non-Gaelic-speaking audience that the song title means "Mary Put Your Teeth In Before You Kiss Me". Methinks they were kidding.

I'm seeing Manchester band The Jakpot tonight. Could be one firehazard's familiar with?
I'm afraid I won't be able catch Wilco in May but Sparklehorse have announced a Vienna date, which makes up for not seeing Wilco.

No, sorry, Eyeball_Kid, I don't know these guys. Maybe I'll check them out...

A fun time last night with Gaelic Storm. They played for well over two-and-a-half hours, ending at midnight, and then announced to the crowd, "We're gonna downstairs to the bar and drink, yeah?" I'm sure a good chunk of the crowd joined them, but it was a bit too late for me. Still, that takes care of my live Irish music fix for a little while, at least.
