Havent been here long that Cambridge, Cambridge right? Like the one in England? I have to assume so.

Yep, the one in England. Sorry, I should have made that clear.

I'll have to think very carefully about what T-shirt to wear for this one, Shaz.

Al Gore last night was not a concert, and he didn't sing at all. :(

But actually it was an enthralling presentation, and I even comprehended some of the science-y bits.

Tipper needed to be taken to the Eagle afterwards...

SLF tonight. Shaz, I've looked out my authentic original 1970s tour T-shirt. Can I get into it? Damn...

The Eagle! I went there on my very first pub crawl with my (now) husband! Something special about that place.

Yeah, the Eagle has got something about it. Ok, it's a bit tourist-y these days (actually it probably always was, especially because of its American connections), but it's got a lot of atmosphere. I wouldn't say it's my favourite pub in Cambridge, but it's certainly a must for the pub crawl, Christine. :)

And it's just up the road from the Corn Exchange, which is useful for gigs.

VNV Nation yesterday. I can only say... WOW!!! This is the only band for me that can top The Pogues on stage. That fat Irish bloke is a bomb of energy and by far the best entertainer on this planet and far beyond!

Lucky enough again to be seeing Los Lobos Saturday, having a little soiree within the barricades of our annual downtown street fest:

just bought tickets for Bjork ! in Vancouver !!

I'm looking forward to seeing her close to home. My daughter has been listening to her for years, and is coming along as well. She'll be up front with tears in her eyes, I'm sure.
I've been reading reviews of her shows, and they're apparently just amazing. She creates a real atmosphere.
Has anyone here seen her in concert?

No but always wanted to. I missed a chance 10 years ago she was playing a city I lived in at the time. I think she has played LA once since I've lived here at the Hollywood Bowl which I'm not fond of.

She is playing Coachella soon.
I'm sure you'll have a great time she is amazing!!!

Georgecat, I didn't know your new house was actually at the Hollywood Bowl. So every day its Live from the Hollywood Bowl -- Georgecat.

Yeah... I had two beers... Pfff :)

Brilliant! Order season box seats and just live there! Should apply to any fav city venue. But that would put me in the 9:30 Club and I've already spat all over them, so I guess I'll have to move. Thanks for teh clue. :)
