I have never been a huge fan of his music but did see him in Omaha a few years back and must say it was a very good show.

All the old Twin City punks should be out in full force for this classic line up. The Suburbs with The Suicide Commandos. I have not seen the 'Burbs in over 20 years...

They are playing 2 nights, Nov. 19th and 20th at "First Avenue" in Minneapolis. I bought tix for the Sat. show.

Since I was heading into the Twin Cities for the Burbs show, I decided to stay a bit and see Mr. Cave and Ike Reilly as well

I'll mention this to Doc Harry, he will be so jealous as one of his favorites.

Well the Suburbs ROCKED my attache on Saturday. I could have done without the Suicide Commandos however as they would best be described as "bubblegum punk". Saw my Minnesota Vikings get crushed by Green Bay at the dome on Sunday (adios coach Chilly) now just heading to The Local, a Minneapolis pub that claims they pour more Jamison than any other in the world. I verified that they make a great Bloody Mary on Sunday, so it is time to pre-game for the Grinderman show at First Avenue tonight.

Warren Ellis was worth the price of admission alone, amazing show tonight. Have fun Steve. Which Pogues show are you hitting we picked Chicago.
