Stop sucking. Go see them both. Stalk WEW for me. Say "hi" to MBD for me. Tell the bass player "BFF!OMG!"

It's entirely necessary. It heightens the whole experience.

Went to see Noah and the Whale last night.

Good young band, fun evening. Lots of instruments. Recommended. Their album is pretty fine too.
Likes the warm feeling but is tired of all the dehydration.

Ok I wussed out. Brooklyn might as well be Boston for people who live in upper manhattan.
I'll definitely catch WEW when he returns to nyc in January.

Andrew, Andrew, Andrew....<shakes head> - A giant of a talent like WEW doesn't come along very often - he was just a short train ride away, fer cryin' out loud! You'll be like one of those people that said "yeah - I was going to go to Woodstock in 1969, but the car didn't have air conditioning, and my Dad said he'd pay me 10 dollars to clean the garage..."
I don't want to have to speak to you about this again....
...ain't it funny how you used to know everybody in these parts...

It's only because we want you to be happy.

...and, living up here on the upper left coast, far from the beating heart of culture that is NYC, I'm jealous of all the great music that is practically dropping in your lap, any night of the week, that you can just head out and SEE; no plane rides, hotels, car rentals, currency exchanges, time zones or accumulated vacation time to worry about. (all of which are welcomed when The Pogues are on tour)
This week, you could see The Carolina Jug Stompers (worth checking out just for the name), Bob Dylan at Washington Heights, Black 47,and on and on....

Heck - get out there, see some shows, then come back here and tell us all the great stuff we're missing. We'll be here....

It's somewhat of a problem, every night there is a myriad of things to do. Too many things in fact. If I miss something great tonight, well there's always something great tomorrow night.
I grew up in CT where everything except the diner closed by 11PM, and there was nothing to do.That's why I moved to nyc. Perhaps a relocation is in order for you?

Listen, Andrew. We don't want to relocate. Many of us have homes and families and are properly settled down. We aren't in NYC and like it that way. All we are asking is that we can live our nightlives vicariously through you. Is that too much to ask or expect?

In reply I am only expecting a review of Dylan's show tonight that is so lucid that I'll feel like I was there.

Thank you very much.
