Absolutely Fabulous -The Movie.

When London PR agent, Edina Monsoon (Jennifer Saunders) and her best friend Patsy Stone (Joanna Lumley) are accused of killing Kate Moss (Kate Moss) after accidentally knocking her off a balcony into the River Thames at a party, they do a moonlight flit to Cannes in France in an aim to escape the attention of the police and British media, helped by Edina's teenage granddaughter Lola (Indeyarna Donaldson-Holness) who uses credit cards her father has given her to fund the trip as Edina and Patsy are broke.

Once Edina's daughter Saffron or Saffy for short(Julia Sawalha) discovers her daughter, mother and mother's best friend have gone missing, she sets about trying to find them with the help of policeman boyfriend.

Meanwhile Edina's dippy P.A. Bubble (Jane Horrocks), who Edina and Patsy believe they have also managed to drown in the Thames, turns up in her holiday home in the town, with Lulu (herself), who is also angry with Edina because she forgotten to book her as an act for the party, and both of them are also frantically trying to find Edina, Patsy and Lola.

As they are talking, Edina and Patsy, who have stolen a truck and are being chased by Saffy and boyfriend in a French police car, land in Bubble's swimming pool. Saffy and Bubbles try to persuade them to come home, but Edina says they can't because they've killed Kate Moss.

But Kate Moss, is not dead, she turned up five days after the party and is resting at Jean-Paul Gaultier's (himself) flat.

Good plot, relatively amusing.

Also stars June Whitfield (Edina's mother), Emma Bunton (herself), Stella McCartney (herself), Jerry Hall (herself), and a cast of thousands including Kathy Burke, Dawn French, Graham Norton and Barry Humphries.

Rams (2015) - An Icelandic film about 2 brothers who both raise sheep, having not spoken in 40 years, who are forced to work together to save the last of their historic herd. A great, engaging film, although not as slap-stick funny and faced-paced as the trailer (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PWVmUVAdi5Y) might suggest (although it is those things too).

Oh I did get it, love the movie. 8)

I would've been very disappointed if someone hadn't posted the necessary response, as you did. But I was content to leave it hanging there... :D

Screw this 8)

I certainly didn't get to any Leslie Nielsen scenes.

For some reason I googled "Was Leslie Nielsen gay?" and it reminded me of how a niece googled that regarding Prince, and it said he was a fancy Lesbian. ♡♥♡

I think everyone has a few movies, that while they are universally loved, you just don't get or hate. So, I am guessing Frances isn't a Naked Gun fan either.

I thought Borat was the worst movie I have seen. Never liked Bladerunner either, just couldn't get into it. With Gary Marshall's recent death, Pretty Woman is a film whose popularity baffles me. It was especially bothers me when young girls watch it. Pretty sure if you become a prostitute, 99.9% of your client aren't wealthy Richard Gere look a likes.
Saw an interview with a young lady in Rio who is in the "escort" business. Her favorite movie is PW and she hoped to land a rich husband during the Olympics, just like Julia Roberts
character. Don't get your hopes up..

I'm actually astonished that there's anyone in the developed world today above a certain age that hasn't seen the movie at least, say, 14 times.
