Sam Rockwell is amazing in that he can more than hold his own with Walken. They need to be in another play together.

I thought In Bruges was only so-so and haven't seen this yet. It might be Farrell. Maybe I should watch Image and figure it out.

I loved In Bruges so much we visited Bruges during one of our trips to Europe.

"Hunger Games 2: Catching Fire".

We've enjoyed both of the HG films so far, and my daughter who has read the books says they are a fairly faithful adaption. The author of the novels was co-author & co-producer of the films, and i just don' t understand why producers don't choose to involve the authors more, as i think in the majority it makes a better film. Certainly, time & time again, the crap adaptions never have the author involved (or actually ahve them openly protesting).

Took the Cadillac family to see this tonight. We all had more than a few good laughs.

Stayed in tonight and watched "How To Lose Friends and Alienate People" and "Run Fatboy Run" Both star Simon Pegg. Run Fatboy Run also stars Dylan Moran(whom I have a crush on), so that would have to be my favorite! It's pretty funny! I recommend both of them.

I also recommend Dylan Morans standup shows, Monster, Like Totally, What It Is and Yeah Yeah. All hilariously funny, Monster being my favorite!

Love Dylan Moran's standup shows. He's probably my favourite at the moment.

"Jack the Giant Killer" (2013).

Had seen a trailer for this in Dec 2012, and saw it was on Netflix. Or so i thought. The trailer I saw was for "Jack the Giant SLAYER". What we watched last night was "Jack the Giant KILLER", which is what is apparently known as a "mockbuster": a low-budget rip-off of a popular Hollywood title meant to make a quick buck on direct-to-video and foreign licencing markets. This movie was so bad shadows were visible on the bluescreen, the story made no sense, and there was no giant. Seriously. It was like an Ed Wood film with none of the charm.

Seven Psychopaths
The Wolf of Wall Street
Blue Jasmine

Woody Allen bit the big one. Don't drop a dime on him and not expect to see yourself on screen, I suppose.

Hi Frances, What did you think of THE WOLF OF WALL STREET? I'm thinking of going to see it but I've heard some people really didn't like it.

I liked one scene with DiCaprio at a Country Club a lot. Difficult scene that he totally pulled off. Hill is good, but overall it means nothing. DiCaprio does the accent perfectly but you just don't buy the whole thing, I think.

Robbie Robertson did the soundtrack and it's overbearing. Some good songs, but it just doesn't work.

I watched it for free, rate it 3 out of 10 and wouldn't pay more than matinee, for sure.
