I meant to go and see "Eight Miles High" (Das wilde Leben), biopic about Uschi Obermaier, but got to the cinema just too late - sold out. Who'd think lots of people are interested in a hippy-groupie-model of 1960s Germany. :(

Me too. I think I might even have to do so with undertitles this time, an awful lot of mumbling going on there

I watched Michael Collins yesterday. I've avoided the movie up until now, but my girly heart couldn't resist the combo of Liam Neeson and Alan Rickman (why do I keep calling him Rick Alman?). Now I've found a couple of books to read, as I am very confused about the historical facts. And what on earth was Julia Roberts doing in that film? Jeez.

There's also this Scottish film that I'd love to see; Seachd. I do hope it'll be available on DVD, or that it at some point will reach this part of the world in a cinematic version.

Edit: Oh, and I watched the BBC special on 30 years of Monty Python last night too. GREAT! Especially the part where Palin stumbles back into the sea.

I didn't mean her character as such, I meant her - I just don't think she was any good, that's all.
