Casino Royale - one of my coices for Best Bond film ever. And very impressive debut Bond-ing from Mr Craig. I can see what the girls are all saying, and it looked like he was made for the job. Great fun all 'round - two fins up.

Yeah it was really bad actually. It was a bit predictable as well that 'Team USA' beat 'ze Germans'

Studios consistantly make films that bad on purpose for a tax dedection. They should be selling them to the government as torture devices.

The Prestige - class act. And not often you get to see the Thin White Duke doing a Tesla with Gollum as his sidekick, neither. Don't shoot until you sees the whites of their ties, Alfie.

Just got a new DVD player, but daughter is home sick today so it has been the Hannah Montanah movie. I have grown to like her, despite her lineage.
What kind of fuckery is this?

Lord of the Flies (1963), because my eldest niece quotes "sucks to your asmar" from the book constantly, Angela's Ashes, & Francis Ford Coppola's The Conversation.

My buddy Brownie brought over DUCK SOUP last night. Haven't seen it in ages - funnier than ever now that reality is more absurd than this parody of international politics.

My son is re-watching The Ladykillers now. Not the Coen Brothers' best, but good nonetheless. Something extremely hilarious about Jewish brothers, I guess.
