The woman in the seat next to me was chatty. I missed some good movie watching time. I covered:

The Seven Samurai
A Prarie Home Companion (meh - it was ok - I wouldn't rush out to see it though)
Looking for Comedy in the Muslim World (Funny film. Particularly if you've been to India.)
“I know all those people that were in the film [...] But that’s when they were young and strong and full of life, you know?”

I agree with Prarie Home Companion...why was everyone raving about it when it came out? I thought it was passable for sure.
Looking for Comedy...that is some of my handy work.

Sadly disappointed with "For Your Consideration" (Christopher Guest, dir.).

I had hoped for a "The Player"-style incineration of celebrity and Hollywood culture, but what I saw was a sleepy little film.

Superman Returns. Very enjoyable. Kevin Spacey as a fine, dastardly Lex Luthor.

The Wind That Shakes the Barley by Ken Loach

I've found it a little bit too predictable, but Ken's style it's still a pleasure to see

Neat!

Though sadly the one I watched was likely untouched by your hands. It was a showing from IFC recorded onto my TiVo and then ripped down to DVD for the trip. No menus or screens with which to display your handywork.
