I did make a point to watch that, and still think it is overdone, kitschy and essentially predictable. Not to mention ideologically dubious: "good stick to beat a lady with" or words to that effect. And don't get me started on John Wayne!

I'd go for Mary Jones' Stones In His Pocket any time, or for McDonagh. Or straight to Taming Of The Shrew.
