Any one seen The wind that shakes the barley?

Any good the nearest cinema its on in Britian is the Fulham road. Be more expensive getting there than watching the bloody thing.

I've been dying to see that. I keep putting it off for some reason. Come to think of it, I may be putting it off on purpose.

The Wind That Shakes The Barley

Post Wed Jun 28, 2006 11:33 pm

Just wondering if anyone here has seen this film? I went to see it a couple of days ago.

I keep meaning to write up a review of sorts, to put on my website - but until then let's just say it's probably the closest a film has brought me to tears... some real horific and emotional stuff and if every St George's flag waving ignorant prat in this country actaully sat down and watched it they might actually be ashamed of their Rule Britania sing alongs.
