One sees that Downey Jr. can play a prick character, but an über-intelligent, top-tier, cutthroat lawyer? Uh...
Billy Bob Thornton as opposing counsel with a grudge one totally buys.

The brothers Vincent D'Onofrio and Jeremy Strong are great. I just wish either actor had been cast over Dax Shepard as the Judge's co-counsel.
He's like Scrappy-Doo in human form.

The importance of Quiet Riot and Twisted Sister are a tad overstated in this, but... we learn a lot about the bands drummer and his actual life, family, etc.
I felt bad for the replacement lead singer, Mark.

Malcolm X (1992)

Still timely, and still a great film. I forgot how amazing Denzel Washington was in this. Damn. Fascinating history to the film too, which has been trying to be made since 1967. One attempt would have been directed by Sidney Lumet with Richard Pryor as Malcolm and Eddie Murphy playing Alex Haley!?

It's just amazing to me that Malcolm X and Ho Chi Minh both worked at Boston's Omni Parker House. Not to mention Dickens, Holmes, Booth, Kennedy, etc. frequenting the place. I was quite happy to win the Priceline lottery and get placed there during part of my last visit.
