Aye. Just watching it again tonight (I don't know, 30, maybe 40 lifetime viewings so far?).

I heard and both read that Juno's was quite good, and Ellen Page gives a great performance (hard to believe, considering she downright sucked in X3, but then again that was a terrible movie, so I'm willing to give her the benefit of the doubt.) I've also read that it is already starting to be called one of the best teenage movies, joing along side the ranks of such notable classics as The Breakfast Club, Fast Times At Ridgemont High, Say Anything, Heathers, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Superbad and Clueless (not a big fan of this movie.) But hang your head up proud Juno.

Knallhart
The Germans produced a lot of great movies in the last 5 years. It's a pitty that most of them don't play in theatres over here and are hard to find on dvd.

The girl cried out a few times and the old man slept with his mouth wide open and his bad teeth showing.

Oh yeah! Great film.

I just finished up 'Breaker' Morant and that, my friends, is one hell of a movie. Part courtroom drama, part Rashomon, and starkly neutral, 'Breaker' Morant is great filmmaking.

The final scene, as the sun rises, is perfect.

*Comedian Harmonists. German movie about the band from Berlin (with the same name) back in the 1920's and 30's. 5 Singers and 1 pianist conquered the world with really funny songs. They split up, because 3 of them were Jews, that had to flee to the USA.

*Der blaue Engel.
