Best cd of this year

Up until recently The Radiators "Sound City Beat" album would have been way out in front for me this year.

With Bap Kennedy's album "The Sailor's Revenge"

being the only lp to come close.
Then Dexys reformed and put out a new lp

that I thought would no1 but I bought the new Levellers cd in the same week,

which has gone way past my expections .

All said its looking like a great day for new cds.

Agree, there have been some excellent releases so far this year. I'd agree about the new Levellers album.

To your list I'd want to add:

Patti Smith: Banga. Her best new album for years.

And the CD I've probably played more than any other new one this year is Jim Moray's Skulk.
