I'm buying a round of beer.

Right, should have gone with the bourbon.
And I don't want no grave
Just throw my ashes in the field
And hope there's some soul left to save

The evening started when I texted GeorgeCat to say something along the lines of "I'm five minutes away. Order me something that will be a bad decision." It wasn't bourbon, but it WAS in a glass smaller than beer normally arrives in.

And because GeorgeCat and I were left to our own devices again we were reduced to gossiping about the rest of you (Again!) and sprinkling in enthusiastic talk of curling. I now think we totally need to have a curling competition the next time there are more than five or so Medusiarinaughts in a common spot. Curling! It's a sport! And you can drink while doing it! But it's totally not darts or bowling! And the pants! Epic!

Tax deductible? Unlikely. But it is sociable. You should come! I hear that VillaJohn is always up for a beer.

Jaysus DeeZed! If you're that close to San Diego you need to swing by. Surely The COMPANY can find some task for you down here.

Sadly The Company (All Praise The Company) does not need me to be in San Diego at the moment. Right it's all about the city of angels.

Alrighty, how 'bout Melbourne?

Post Mon Jun 25, 2012 7:40 pm

I'm doing a quick trip to Melbourne, Victoria. If the jetlag isn't too crippling then there's a chance I could buy the first round this Thursday night (June 28) or Sunday night (July 1).

Any takers?

Darn it, DzM, I was halfway to Melbourne already.
Well, Melbourne Place, anyway, which has a good selection of pubs:
