Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. No sign of Woody Woodpecker (for you Seinfeld fans).

Happy Thanksgiving to all the Medusans in the USA!

Best show on television right now Homeland.
Also, started House of Cards series, 3 episodes in and I am hooked. Always love Kevin Spacey.

We just watched the final season of "Boardwalk Empire". My least favourite season, with two much time spent in Nooky's past memories. But "least favourite" shouldn't be interpreted as "bad", plus it's a short season, and - like the end of True Blood - i will say it certainly ties up all the different plot threads rather conclusively.

And now we've just finished with season 7, the final season, of Sons of Anarchy. There was a foolish amount of killing, but then this story is a Hamlet-inspired tale of a gun-smuggling bike gang, so that shouldn't be too surprising.

The finale was OK, but honestly I found this show too long by about 2 seasons. Didn't help that several of the leads were terrible actors. As usual, Katey Segal takes the cake in the acting department, and Tig, Bobby, and Chibs remain more fun to watch than lead Jax.

Ya gotta quit now, while it is easy to get out of the life. Later on you'll be so caught up and ensnarled in it you won't be able to quit no matter how much you want to.

No! Stick with it. Great show that doesn't turn sucky and at only 5 seasons/62 episodes, its not a major life commitment.

I suppose that was more of an inside joke, for my wife and me. When we were in the thick of the show we would always draw the curtains, startle at noises outside, and lament that we ever got into the life as we binged and binged on the show. It was absolutely amazing.

We've finished watching the first series of Breaking Bad and loved it. Haven't started on series two yet.

Currently working through old episodes of Louis Theroux documentaries (BBC). He meets some amazing people and really gets them to open up about their lives. The episodes about crime in Philly and private Police forces in Johannesburg were fantastic.

Frontline Putin's Way (PBS)-A 2015 investigation into the reign of Mr. Putin. Some really scary allegations
And exposure of the rampant corruption that is a mainstay of Russian life-one commentator put the
Value of the "corruption industry" at 10 per cent of GDP. Highly recommend, especially with renewed
Violence in the Ukraine, the fall of oil prices and the collapse of the ruble.

Wolf Hall, along with the entire British middle class.

Mark Rylance is brilliant, of course. And I was thinking that Philip might have really enjoyed this too.

Damian Lewis was not very prominent (yet?), perhaps because he was hung in Tehran, as we all know.

Always knew that "hanging" would turn out to be a fake...

Thought there was just a touch of Lord Flashheart about Damo's arrival at the end last night. And of course he's not the central character in the books, so it'll be interesting to see how much screen time he's given.

Thoroughly enjoyed the books, anyway, and thought it was a promising first episode, and we very much liked Lady Anne. And Rylance was very good indeed.
