Indeed. Much of England was apparently persuaded by the right-wing media that the Scots are a load of hairy baxtards who are coming to murder us all. The Scots Nats are now left with a whole pile of MPs who have no power at all in the UK because they've let in a Tory majority. Basically, we're fecked.

This will mean nothing to most on this raft, but I was idly browsing footballers, from different eras, and how many times they'd played for their country...so, the thing I learnt today is that Charlie George played one game for England and was substituted after an hour..shocking...and that David Batty played 42 times for England...although they're from different eras, it pretty much sums up the England set-up and what type of player they favour.

No surprise really. Workhorses rather than fancy dans has always been the England preference. Stan Bowles and Alan Hudson barely got a handful.

A thing I've learned today (provisionally). Most Irish people are full of common sense. Thankfully the marriage referendum on same sex marriage has been passed. We're the first country to have a free vote and say YES !!!!!!
