It's a long and complicated story involving a large (and extremely heavy) electric wheelchair, over-excitement at a concert, over-enthusiastic stewards, and a consequent cocktail of embarrassment and many bruises. Ouch. Lessons were learned (I hope).

Aw, Firehazard, that won't do. May your bruises (and your ego?) heal fast and well.

You and the stewards got all crazy and tried hoisting the chair for a crowd-surfing session? Did the whole sequence of events start with "Hey! Watch this!"?

Now there's a thought. Good idea, DzM. Must try that out next time...

Please please please make sure you have it videoed. If it works (the crowd surfing) then you have YouTube gold on your hands.

...and everlasting infamy!

I have more bruises today than I think I've ever had. And I've had a few bruises in my time...

Infamy only if it fails spectacularly.

Get better, friend.

Spectacular failure = instant internet fame. I shall give credit where it's due. Just listen out for the cry of, "This is all DzM's idea!"

Thanks for the wishes, all. Will recover. Lesson learned (till the next time).
