''Keine Lust'' by Rammstein
“An’ this is the last of Brummy,” he said, leaning on his spade and looking away over the tops of the ragged gums on the distant range.

Beautiful song.

It is too. I've just discovered that young Teddy is support act for a gig I'm going to next month. That's a real bonus.

Sick and Tired by Lula Reed

Image
My latest 78 rpm "discovery", Lula was a soul belter who recorded for King Records in the early 50s. Her big hit was "I'll Drown in My Tears" which was recorded by Ray Charles as "I'll Drown In My Own Tears". In the mid-60s she dropped out of show bidness and returned to the bosom of the church. She refuses all requests to recall her wicked past.
Disclaimer: These are my opinions and not fact as realised in these here United States, lest I give my friends the idea that everyone thinks like me.

when i read "church" and "bosom" in the same sentance... it reminds me of The Family Guy episode where Peter tries to breast feed Stewie.
