Even the great ones blow crap out their ass too sometimes. Before Miss Lenya was given this astonishing number in Cabaret (1966), the show's authors , John Kander and Fred Ebb, had supplied a jolly, rousing, look on the bright side, our Gracie piece of tasteless rubbish called "It'll All Blow Over". In fairness to them, in the last reissue of the Original Cast album of the show, the boys included their ghastly demo of the song as a bonus track.
