OK.
The only people I recognize are Postman Pat and the Proclaimers.

I mean, I’ve heard of
Little Britain.
Looks like a room of complete imbeciles.
What the actual fuck was that? And why did so many people have puppets? And why could an entire room full of "celebrities" (?) not find a single beat to clap to?
Nothing about this makes any sense at all. I am very confused.
Well...it was a charity record to raise money for Comic Relief. Comic Relief was set up by a couple of comedian types to raise money for famine relief in Ethiopia in 1985. It raised £15M the first year through an event called Red Nose Day where there was a telethon type thing and celebrities and ordinary people did daft things to raise money. Since then, it's been run every other year, had a parallel thing called Sport Relief where sports stars do similar daft things. It has raised over £1 Billion for good causes around the world mostly through donations from the public.
Most years there has been a remake of a "classic" song to raise funds. Celebrities and musicians getting together to act daft This particular song was re-recorded for the 2007 Comic Relief with Peter Kaye and Matt Lucas (quite famous UK comedians) and sold a lot of downloads.
The cast of this video would be pretty much instantly recognised by many of the population of the UK as faded celebrities from the golden age of UK TV. They were being silly!!! Also, we like puppets.
I understand that there have been attempts to run similar comic relief type things in the US, but you'd spent all your money on guns.
