Not till he waxes that ear. But yes, I agree, and (like you, I suspect) I felt that way before his COVID bullshit. But my surrogate big brother (my brother's best friend) played the hell outta Slowhand, and i did love "The Core". Plus i got to be the annoying younger brother and come back at him with an Alice Cooper song.
