It's a good f.you song to all the phonies, but the line "If I was a master thief perhaps I'd rob them" always makes me cringe a little.

And speaking of Bob Dylan, a more blunt grindcore update to his "A Hard Rain's A-Gonna Fall"...

Song: Sweet Jane
Artist: Cowboy Junkies

I'm always conflicted by Cowboy Junkies. I want to like them more than I do. Can't put my finger on why (for either side of the conundrum).

I honestly can't name a single song they've done, though I'm sure a quick YouTube search would have me saying "Ooooh, THESE guys from the 1990s." There's a whole parcel of "adult contemporary" that came from the 90s that got constant radio play and for which I have only foul things to say. Just so much dross.

I seem to recall Susan Tedeschi was big-ish in at that same time. I know nothing of her catalog but vaguely remember thinking she had an awesome voice. So I guess not EVERYTHING from the mid-90s was terrible.

David Gray is/was terrible though.

Well as much as i hate to sound like Trump

WRONG.

The relaxed, mellow vibe of 'Trinity Sessions' aside, listen to 'Black Eyed Man', which covers a larger sonic palette. Or don't, whatever, we're all entitled to our likes and dislikes. They were good enough for Townes Van Zandt to write "Cowboy Junkies Lament" for, and their cover of "Sweet Jane" remains definitive for me: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fa9nN3G2CSg

I'm probably a bit biased as I'm originally from Toronto and they were hometown heroes plus as teens we all had crushes on Margo Timmins.

Question.

What are the top three casinos in Canada? They don't have to be the nicest, just, you know... the best middling atmosphere. 8) In fact, I don't like fancy casinos like the Palazzo.

Poker and table games don't matter. More sports bet and slots.

Tnx.

I consider any casino that I win hundreds in to be excellent. Even the Eldorado in Reno. :)

One along Niagara Falls spoke to me.
