It was a fun surprise to find out that he wrote it, but there's just something about the arrangement of this version: the exuberant singing in rounds, the soaring keyboard and guitar solos, the chopsticks breaks, and then the sudden gospel bursts of "Blinded by the light!" by the female backing singers at the end to top it off. It just becomes this completely absurd masterpiece. I think this lyrics video helps you appreciate the full experience:
