Pacific Garden Mall
Is that the mall with the 70's slatted wood architecture?
With the shitty movie theater?
Honestly, Santa Cruz is all book stores, Pizza My Heart, Longs, Trader Joes, Pacific Cookie Company and Poet and Patriot (day drinking) to me.
Doing nothing, just walking around..
It's awesome.
I will say that the adorable movie theater has never had a decent midnight movie playing when I'm in town. Always Back to the Future or Indiana Jones moronathons. Ugh.

That could really work. If I had a vehicle with a half-decent sound system I might try it. Though it might work better in Santa Cruz than round these parts.

Wow. This is both terrible and awesome. To the X-TREME!
I am now being nostalgic for all this absolutely terrible early-80s English pop. I never, ever thought I'd be wistful for this part of my life.

The thing is, some of it really is pretty good. I still like a lot of it.

Well yeah. Most definitely. Hell, our favorite band is a product of the 80s and early 90s, so there we go.
None-the-less, sometimes DJ Shuffle pulls up some dross that reminds me that, overall, these decades are best forgotten (or at least listened to very quietly, on headphones, where nobody will know my shame). I put Human League in that bucket...
