The Davenports Famous Bitter song, i just clocked it on Youtube, originally screened during the ad breaks on ITV in the late 80's.Davenports was a famous brewery, based in Brum, and this ad was 'sung' by various actors, including Mark Williams[Fast Show,Father Brown,Harry Potter etc]singing in a Midlands dialect, which was passable in my book, unlike that awful 'anything for youw cupcake' ad!

The Ballad of Pogue Mahone. This little gem[or Jem even!]was on a compilation cassette that i found in a drawer along with other cassettes, there is no information other then the song title,it was the last track on a 'put together' compilation c90,mostly Irish and Scottish stuff. But,who sang this song and when?

"Storm in a D-Cup" (Joe Strummer, "When Pigs Fly" unreleased soundtrack)

An instrumental, but what a great song title. I can just picture what the scene was...

And I've just found out they've been listed for Cambridge Folk Festival this summer. Which is very good indeed.
