"Don't Ever Change" The Crickets (1962)

A lovely little post-Buddy 45 and a great Goffin/King song. The snare drum (Jerry Allison?) is remarkable. The Crickets were rightly inducted into the Hall of Fame last year by committee to correct the oversight that they were not on the ticket with Holly in 1986.

Wagon Wheel.I have two versions of this Bob Dylan composition, Tarahan, an excellent band from Newfoundland and Darius Rucker who isn't from Newfoundland.Tarahan's version pre-dates Ruckers by at least 3 years.Has the one time Mr.Zimmerman recorded Wagon Wheel.?

Great wee record. I first heard The Beatles' BBC version and it sent me on to The Crickets (already important to me through Buddy).

On a Gene Vincent kick and Git It is just magical
