Mercury and Bowie audio track: Under Pressure

This is just kinda awesome. I had never realized how much reverb is in that audio mix though.

How do you get the player on there? I promise not to do it, swear.

Right there in the message you quote:

There's a button on the formatting bar labeled "Flash". Hit it. It creates two tags:

[flash=][/flash]

After the "=" it wants the dimensions of the viewer in Width and Height. The common dimensions to work with would be 480,360. That's what I did.

Between the two tags is the URL to the Flash object you want embedded. This can be a little tricky since each video site has its own idiosyncrasies and, frankly, I haven't cared enough to figure them all (or really, almost any of them) out. For YouTube it works like this:

Go to a YouTube video page. You will have a URL something like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uMQb9LCNGxs
Change the URL so that it looks like this: http://www.youtube.com/v/uMQb9LCNGxs That means the "watch?v=" got replaced with a "v/" instead. The gobbledygook after the "v=" is required and must not be altered.
Paste that new URL between the Flash tags.
Hit Preview to make sure your video does what you think it does. Edit a couple times. Keep previewing. Then rage-quit at it and go do tequila shots instead.
