Never heard of them but clicked your link. The little chorus line "I like him very much" reminds me of Debbie Harry.

I like it 8)

Went and saw them years ago (92 ish?) with a friend who insisted. Had no clue about them, but they put on a great show. The punk fury in the songs with the polite "Thank you so much!" between songs was hilarious. They definitely have some of the new-wave-ish influence in the punk, but maybe that's just their limited command of English?

I just learned today that the Ramones were called after Paul McCartney, or at least, one of his pseudonyms - Paul Ramon - the one he used in the Silver Beatles.

"Honeysuckle Rose", Garth Hudson on piano with, um, some other people. Some BBC thing i think.

"Up All Night" Rick Danko, Gary Busey, Paul Butterfield. Over the top rock and roll harmonica and fiddle and guitar all three singing (from SNL).

Along those lines, big news... I just recently found out about Perkins and Newman. Mercy, they were gorgeous.

I am, I must say, a little obsessed with Burl's shirt in the guitar picture.
