Sam Moore told a tale of why he fell out with Dave Prater.... he shot his wife in the head. Sam said he thought that was a bit harsh and never spoke to him again.

So basically I'm skipping around their 1993 album "Jericho". I had just uploaded a collection of outtakes from that album to a live music/bootleg trading site, and got the news that Levon is in the final stages of his cancer. I'll say that he's certainly put the last decade or so since his first bout to good use. We love you Levon!

Listening to the Graceland for the first time in years as i got tickets for his gig in Dublin. He's playing the entire Graceland album (with Ladysmith Black Mambassa) then a greatest hits set.

When i left school and got my first pay packet i bought the album on vinyl for my Mam who is a big fan. She's my date for the gig

Just saw that Rush is coming to Boston, and a couple of my fellow Pogues fans love them for some reason. Me, in turn, loved to make fun of their misguided Canadian love affair especially when they have songs with titles like this! Just watched this on YouTube, didn't convert me.
