If that couple had been in the diner, John and Uma wouldn't have gone home with the trophy.

The couple is Joey & Jennifer Sogliuzzo

Now that's a surname not to be messed with. If they'd wanted the trophy, Mrs Marsellus Wallace woulda stepped aside.

For the first time since December the Pogues has been off the ipod/cd player.

This evening I gave the Clash 'Live at Shea Stadium' a little blast.

"Beggar Man" by Planxty, playing on CBC Radio 2's "Deep Roots", which is a pretty decent show. In fact, all around, I'm a big fan of the "new" CBC Radio 2.

Maclaine Colston & Saul Rose: The Lazy Farmer

Yes, twiddly-diddly. But you have to love a song that isn't afraid to rhyme "grass" with "arse".

It was nice to hear "In These Shoes?" by Kirsty MacColl on the radio driving to work this morning.

"My Wife's Hometown" - Bob Dylan

The best rewrite of "I Just Wanna Make Love To You" EVER, with David Hidalgo channeling Little Walter's harp through his accordion (a nifty trick!)
