John Kongos - Tokoloshe Man
Donovan - There is a Mountain
In and Out - The Pogues

Overexcited after a Pogues gig. Sleep completely out of the question. I'm working my way through my current top 20 before even trying.

Townes Van Zandt's Rex's Blues, as recorded by Guy Clarke & co. on his album "The Dark". No church choir was ever so lovely, no prayer ever so touching & well written. I listened to it 4 times straight while driving to work.

Oysterband "When I'm Up I Can't Get Down"
A very nice video of the song

A tour with The Pogues-The Levellers-Oysterband would be something 8)
Then they'll take you to Cloughprior and shove you in the ground. But you'll stick your head back out and shout "We'll have another round"

It would indeed. And also plenty of potential for an inter-band barney behind the bike sheds after. My money would still be on our boys to kick arse. 8)

At this moment listening to Lovely Kate Rusby singing a song about a horse. Though apparently it's not really a horse but someone dressed up as a horse. Sweet but confusing.
