Oh I didn't catch that! Indeed it's a chevron guitar strap! And I think you do need one for your ukulele.
I too need a uke strap. And I now know which one I'm looking for.
I remember travelling down the M11 on the way to Brixton one December. "What are those weird white marks on the road?" said one of our fellow passengers, somewhat drunkenly. "They're telling you to keep your distance," said I, "They're called chevrons." "Follow the chevrons to see the Pogues! Yeah!" said our friend. It seemed funny at the time. And I know I'll remember it on the way down same motorway this year.
