This Nearly Was Mine / Going Home / Polka Dots & Moonbeams as played by Chet Atkins and Lenny Breau, from their album "Standard Brands". If there were ever two more lovely guitarists who have ever graced a slab of wax, I don't think I've heard them.

I'll be the first to admit some of Breau's stuff is too far out for me, like he's hearing notes when I can't, but his less challenging - perhaps more boring - stuff is too good for words.

Indeed. I don't know if I've listened to any of the other tracks from Sandinista (I've got Clash on Broadway, which is where I heard the song), but I am fascinated with Latin American history. If the rest of the album is like Washington Bullets, I'll be in love!

I'm listening to "Oil Man's War" by Kathleen Edwards.

Beautiful song, really conveys the bullshit of the Bush years without being heavy-handed, attacking through narrative. Any other fans of this lady here?
