song

Post Tue Oct 02, 2007 10:28 pm

ive only posted a couple of messages on medusa before, but ive lived and breathed pogues since about '85. im listening to 'you're the one' off shanes rare oul stuff cos firstly it was me an (my wife) emma's first dance at our wedding, secondly cos yesterday -1st oct- at 10:29am she, after a prolonged and agonising 18 hr labour, gave birth via c-section to our first baby he was 9lb 7oz and we've named him Jack. i tried a few times for it to be shane and most of the rest of the pogues, but i enjoy the white stripes stuff too so Jack it is (Meg will be our seconds name if it's a girl,if we are fortunate enough to have two). thanks for reading this and i can't wait til december for the show at the glasgow academy!

oh! and if you read this Philip, i wish you all the strength and good will from all your fanatics in sunny glasgow to beat the crap out of your sickness and return to our stages as soon as. it won't be the same without you glueing the band together this year.
