 Wood pigeons. Especially the one that came and sat on the top of our chimney stack at 4.00 a.m. making his wood pigeon cooing noise very loudly.

Actually a Peregrine Falcon, which randomly came up as a Final Jeopardy question after I watched this four times. Score!

Due to unforseen circumstances, I am now thinking of selling my tickets to the Royal Court, Liverpool's Christmas show.

Heather wrote:The blower lasted another week and then stopped working totally. I decided it wasn't such a big problem, but the car has started to rust and been welded twice in as many years. Plus I've had it since just before I registered on here, so I decided it was time to start looking for a new second hand car.

I didn't expect to get the first car I saw, but I did, a 2002 Toyota Yaris in Metallic Blue. I was smitten and had to go and see it. It's in excellent condition and has only done 61,000 miles.

It's my birthday today. To celebrate, the radiator in my van has died.

Thank you! I was thinking of saying maybe i need a new one... from space! :D Although it turns out it's not dead, just has a slow leak that apparently hit the critical point. Or so I assume - i looked in & the level was very low, I have filled it back up and it's not leaking out in any noticeable way, so i think i'm safe from any huge repair bills (for now). Maybe THAT was my birthday present? (Edit: nope, it wasn't, look like i'll be out $500-700 for a rebuild).

It has taken me nearly an hour to write a formal letter.

I hate doing it, I can never think what I want to write and end up ripping the page out loads of times and starting again plus my handwriting isn't exactly the neatest, it looks like a spider has crawled across the page. Loathsome job. I hope it's worth it in the end.

I should be in Paris getting drunk with the people I love getting ready to see the band I love. Instead I'm just finishing work. :(
