The blower lasted another week and then stopped working totally. I decided it wasn't such a big problem, but the car has started to rust and been welded twice in as many years. Plus I've had it since just before I registered on here, so I decided it was time to start looking for a new second hand car.

I didn't expect to get the first car I saw, but I did, a 2002 Toyota Yaris in Metallic Blue. I was smitten and had to go and see it. It's in excellent condition and has only done 61,000 miles.

First casualty, a puncture.

Thank you! I was thinking of saying maybe i need a new one... from space! Although it turns out it's not dead, just has a slow leak that apparently hit the critical point. Or so I assume - i looked in & the level was very low, I have filled it back up and it's not leaking out in any noticeable way, so i think i'm safe from any huge repair bills (for now). Maybe THAT was my birthday present? (Edit: nope, it wasn't, look like i'll be out $500-700 for a rebuild).

It has taken me nearly an hour to write a formal letter.

I hate doing it, I can never think what I want to write and end up ripping the page out loads of times and starting again plus my handwriting isn't exactly the neatest, it looks like a spider has crawled across the page. Loathsome job. I hope it's worth it in the end.
