If EV is in the PacNW then EV should look up NeilInSeattle (who is, in fact, in Portland). EV will experience far too much tasty tasty beer, darts, and smoking in pub(s).

Went to Seattle, then Vancouver, then Pemberton, then Whistler, then back to Vancouver, back to Seattle, then home. First time in that part of teh world. I like it.

Well I just thought the throwing pots was a natural progression for the term.

My hand in it...? Ohhh you mean the periodic floggings I had to give him? Thanks, though the boy steers his own course, but to think he came into the world a teensy 2lb 8oz.

You lived in Dyfed? What a great experience for you. How long were you there for?

About 4 years, right in sheep farming country (although that's what it all is) at the foot of the black mountains. There were lots of local legends and tales about the lake Llyn y Fan. Legend has it there is a lady of the lake. It is truly a magical place. We had a very old cottage with the original bread oven, gardens, and it even still had the original water pump that still worked. I consider myself very fortunate to have been able to live there, even if it was just a short period. As I said, the locals welcomed us and we used to get to help on the farm, sheep shearing....hay making, all that great stuff.

We have a new member of our family as of yesterday. Jo-Jo the kitten!

Image

He fell out of the rafters in a tyre shop (along with his brother) right in front of a cat rescue lady. We had been on quite the kitten hunt this weekend and we found him at the very last knockings before all places were closed. He landed on his feet the day he fell out of the rafters and he's landed on them again this time that's for sure.
