For those of you who are lucky enough to have found someone to put up with you. Happy Valentine's Day.

Congrats! It does seem to be a baby making time. I've heard of 4 others that are expecting that I know personally, so that's cool. And one of them just delivered last week.

How about "endures my presence for the sake of the baby"? :D

Er, all this talk of love and spring lambs and such, (sigh), reminds me it's February, the month "of the returning hope of spring" according to the Cree around James Bay. May I wish everyone a fruitful Year of the . . . Rabbit.

My daughter is calling it "Year of the Bunny".

Since we've moved out here, we seem to be celebrating Chinese New Years more and more. Fun. Yum.

We live in Chinatown. When she was 5, my other daughter said (in a discussion about race) "Well, we're a little bit Chinese". We all looked at her, and she said "Gung Hei Fat Choy!"

I'm pretty sure they only have it once a year. How much more often can you celebrate it?

Ah, there's the Bronx contingent! [this remark will be entirely pointless to anyone who was not at the St Jimmy's Day show].

I don't wanna brag but I believe the NJ contingent was the clear winner that evening!
