Yeah, he's great. I'm sad, that I missed so many musical heroes.

I dreamt that I had bought a comfortable mattress last night and got a great night's sleep because of it.

Best wishes to my colleague Pete Holidai and Fiona Ginnell on their wedding yesterday in Dublin. The service was at the Unitarian Church in Stephen's Green and the reception was at the Clarence Hotel. Bono did the cooking, naturally. A great day.

That's quite possible, though I've always known her as a sculptor.

Thank you for your kind comments
A great day indeed
Yes Fiona did work as a cell painter
Also her great, great uncle was Laurence Ginnell who was the Minister of Propaganda in the first Dail, a very interesting chap!

Today we surprised our colleague Frank, the bloke who sorts our post out in work. It's his 70th borthday tomorrow and my boss (who as I've said before is a bit of a nightmare) ordered him a birthday cake from the specialist cake shop next door to our office. It had a postman, made in Frank's image out of icing and looked wonderful.

Frank is a lovely guy who is only working for us to stay active in his old age. All the younger people in our office see him as a grandfather figure.

At 4pm, we all went down to the ground floor, lit the candle on the cake and turned all the lights off. The boss then calls Frank down, by shouting up to him that the postman had arrived early. Frank comes down the stairs and walks into the room and there we all are cheering him and clapping him. He was a little bit emotional to say the least, there were tears streaming down his face and told us all that he had really enjoyed working with us all as if he was about to leave or something. Now the poor guy's had an emotional day anyway, he reversed his car into someone last night and has been trying to sort it out all day. I tell you what, I've never seen a 70 year old man hug so many people in all my years, he even hugged me! The only other old man who has ever hugged me is my dad and that doesn't happen that often as he's not that sort of guy.

Anyway, it was a nice thing to have done and anyone who wanted could have a glass of champagne courtesy of the boss. This never usually happens. I only had a tiny bit as I had to drive home and drinking and driving is a no no for me. A great tribute to a really nice guy.

I've tried that, thought it was nice at first, got a little bit sickly after eating it for breakfast for a week. Try the Special K Creamy Berry Crunch, that's my fave. Don't try the strawberry and chocolate flavour, it's disgusting.

Ah, another family bragging post here. My brother: http://www.fredleo.com/2010/03/31/freds-songs-for-free/

A Tom Petty, John Hyatt, Mark Knofler and more fan.
All below written and played and sung by him.

And even more to his credit, he long ago quit a well-paying job at an international advertising agency--couldn't take the immorality.

Have a listen.
