I would like to say something nice about the good people of Workington.

On Question Time tonight there was a very clear indication that the ordinary people of that fine town have completely seen through the flim-flammery of the ConDems. Sell off our forests? The Big Society? There's rarely been a government minister who was less attuned to what the audience believed. Deadly TV!

Blimey, congrats. I've done the great-uncle thing a few times, but I am a good few years off that. As far as I know. Well done to you and yours.

I haven't been able to watch Question Time for some time, because seeing Tories on TV does my blood pressure no good. Well done, Workington. I suppose the Tories don't care much about Workington, though. Maybe soon they'll be refusing to do QT outside their soft southern heartlands.

My wife is pregnant.... 4 weeks. Just found out a few days ago. Excited but also really nervous that everything goes well this early in the pregnancy. It would be a new Pogue the world... literally.. my family name is Pogue.
