However, my youngest (the one you met, DzM) did make me a "Blueberry Whiskey Sour" cake, so the spirit was there. It was fabulous, the day was nice at the beach we gathered at, and I got a nice bantha t-shirt, among other gifts. So all in all it was a win.

In another 20 years you'll look back on this and say "wow, that was a rager of a party!"

Haha, you are probably right. "Remember that time we walked all the way to the beach with full picnic supplies & a cake? And then I drank a whole Crabbies even though it was just lunch? We were so young & virile!"

Ah, you young 'uns.

To be honest, a lunchtime bbq with wine can put me to sleep for the evening these days.
Likes the warm feeling but is tired of all the dehydration.

Delighted to have had your company for nearly half your life.

I'm just painting everyone with the same brush, I suppose.

I fainted at the post office a month ago and couldn't remember my age when they were giving all the preliminary info to dispatch. Took it down five years. I literally got my phone out and did the math, LOL, to correct myself.

But then, when one is regaining consciousness...

DzM is, indeed, old again. And that is true from any perspective, really.

Geez, that sounds downright frightening Frances. I'm glad you've recovered.

My dad, who's 91, says he sometimes forgets whether he is getting into or out of the shower. So there's that to look forward to...
